Back in September, we posed a question to the advancement community: why haven’t many development leaders embraced LinkedIn?
The for-profit world seems to have recognized the value of LinkedIn, with 9 out of 10 business executives using the platform “often” or “very often,” according to Business News Daily. Our own EverTrue analysis revealed that, unfortunately, many leaders in university advancement have yet to follow suit.
But this isn’t to say that there aren’t any advancement professionals who’ve got it all figured it out.
To find these gurus, we scoured LinkedIn for the profiles of advancement pros at the top 30 schools in both Forbes’ “2014 America’s Top Colleges” and US News & World Report’s “2014 Best Colleges.” Out of the bunch, these 10 caught our eye.
